Mediterranean Beaches

Nova Panorámica is in the locality of Sant Jordi (Castellón) within the county of Baix Maestrat, just a few kilometers away from the coastal towns of Vinaròs, Benicarló y Peñíscola. These towns stand out as tourist destinations thanks to the wide choice of Mediterranean beaches, from the biggest stretches of sand with fine golden sand to the smallest hidden coves with beaches of stone and gravel. And if you wish to visit the towns of the interior, Nova Panorámica is close to Morella, famous for its medieval walls.

For those who do not wish to leave Sant Jordi, there are many interesting places to visit like Calvario, the House of Culture and cooperative, the church of Sant Jaume and 'l'Hostal' (the ruins of an ancient church.)

Mediterranean Gastronomy

The Meditarranean diet is considered to be one of the best in the world, it is as varied as it is tasty. For this reason Sant Jordi won't disappoint anybody. Sant Jordi stands out for its Virgin Olive Oil production, a tradition that dates back to the Middles Ages. Also well known is the excellent taste of the Maestrat Rabbit. Charcoal grilled meat is usually accompanied by snails, mushrooms and vegetables. Bearing in mind the closeness of the sea, maritime products are always present in the restaurants of the area from which the seafood, fideuà, arroz a la banda and fish soup stand out as being particularly noteworthy.
